When one reads the Holy Bible in a straight-forward, literal manner, it is without controversy how old the earth is, the stars, the universe, and all of creation. But science has had its way in manipulating otherwise strong Christians and much of the Bible's early books and verses have become a bit of contention. A warning in the Bible comes in 1 Cor 2:5. "Your faith should not be in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God." If we believe that the Holy Bible is the inerrant transcribed Word of God, it then should never be tampered with, twisted and distorted.
