Like earthly gold, spiritual gold is priceless, enduring, fireproof-enduring even the hottest tests. Our destiny is to not only buy but also become "gold tried in the fire." As we overcome, we grow increasingly golden: priceless to God, enduring, fireproof! In our hottest crucibles, we confess with Job, "When he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold" (Job 23:10, NLT).
