The book contains 621 pages of numerous UFO sightings, including cases involving RAF aircrew who had spectacular mid-air encounters during the Second World War. As most Ministry of Defense UFO files from this period have not survived, this information is priceless from a research point of view, and is an insight into a fascinating period of history that was previously thought to have been lost forever. This book contains a precise chronology of British and American UFO reports, covering the period between 1939 and 1959. Also included are sightings from the First World War, 1929/1940/1943/1944/1954, and numerous reports by USAF/RAF pilots, many of whom have been interviewed personally by the authors over a 20-year period. It contains many original letters and illustrations; for example, Jessie Roestenberg's UFO encounter in 1954, the Margaret Fry UFO case of 1955, 1956 - RAF Lakenheath UFO sighting, and so much more! The foreword is by world-renown UFO author - Timothy Good, and has comments by Nick Pope (now a personal friend), who was previously on Air desk 2a at the Ministry of Defense - in charge of UFO reports brought to him by the public's attention - and now a leading author of books dedicated to the UFO subject.
