In the name of Victor is the autobiography of one of the Nigerian army's most revered military officers Lieutenant General Samuel Victor Leonard Malu. In this book, the general highlights some of his most challenging and gratifying moments in his thirty two year professional career in service to the Nigerian armed forces. In his eulogy Nigerian President- Muhammadu Buhari describes him as an icon of professionalism, bravery and discipline who demonstrated these attributes throughout his national and international assignments. Prominent among his numerous appoints held are: Commander Lagos Garrison command, Commander ECOMOG peace keeping Force Liberia and Chief of Army staff. He passed away on October 9, 2017 aged 70.
