Emmanuel Carrère (París, 9 de diciembre de 1957) es un escritor, guionista y realizador francés reconocido por su habilidad para fusionar la realidad y la ficción en sus obras. Su carrera literaria abarca novelas, biografías y ensayos que exploran la condición humana y las complejidades de la identidad.

Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran "El adversario" (2000), una novela de no ficción que narra la historia real de Jean-Claude Romand; "Limónov" (2011), una biografía novelada del controvertido escritor y político ruso Eduard Limónov; y "El Reino" (2014), una reflexión profunda sobre los orígenes del cristianismo.
