Along the way, she meets many individuals who have healed themselves or been healed from serious and life-threatening conditions. These miracles in healing change the way she views medicine and healing in a way that she could not have expected. Her own personal journey began with her mother's illness and then her own. The greatest challenge she will face, however, is her son's illness which forces her to face her own dark night of the soul. She returns from this journey with a new passion for healing and a fearless desire to help others faced with similar challenges.
