Reseña del libro "The Butterfly which didn't want to fly again: Commissioner Della Morte (en Inglés)"

Commissioner Angelo Della Morte is an inconvenient character for his superiors, politically incorrect and refractory to authority, he interprets justice in his own way, he loves to reiterate that he is at the service of justice and not of the law and that the law is often unfair, while justice is always just.He is worried about the name his parents gave him, which, combined with his surname, seems macabre to him; he is a "sea pathic", he cannot live far from the sea.He works in an imaginary city in central Italy and lives in a renovated fishing house, the town is called Porto Romano and is usually quiet and nothing ever happens. However, under this apparent calm lies a rotten society, made up of trafficking and collusion between politics and crime. The commissioner has his own vision of life, specifically and most importantly, he regards everyone wearing a uniform, even if it is a traffic policeman to be cursed to follow the politicians and lastly the priests, perhaps a heritage due to his Tuscan origins. He's a gourmand, he likes to eat well and drink well, but he can' t handle alcohol, and he's an unrepentant womanizer.Being a Maremma of origin, when he gets angry he mixes his speeches with typically Tuscan expressions close to blasphemy, but which have no intention of offending the religion or faith of others. The apparent tranquility of the town is interrupted by the kidnapping of an adolescent, a murder and the kidnapping of a second adolescent. The investigations that will lead him to discover the murderer - or the murderers - will be intense and very intricate and will reveal all the rottenness of the city.
