Reseña del libro "The Redhead and the PM (en Inglés)"

I knew the title of this novel long before I wrote it. We get a hint of it in Five Love Stories en Brochette when we briefly meet John Farnsworthy. This tale takes place many years before the events related in that tale. Some readers of Who Is Sylvia? may have been shocked by some of the reasons for some of Sylvia's problems with personal relationships; however, life is what it is. Fortunately for Sylvia, Phil Esterházy's persistence helped erase most of Sylvia's problems. For her sister, Kate, it isn't that easy. This story starts several years before Who Is Sylvia? does. Kate O'Donnell was the Silver Medalist in the Chopin Piano Competition. Some thought she should have won; however, Kate is very satisfied with the outcome. Her career is just taking off. Because she is haunted by what happened between her and her brother, she decides it is best that she leave America and move to London. There she meets and is allowed by a cat to share her home with her. Esmeralda is a rather special cat as we will see over the years.Kate mentions to some friends that she certainly has no intentions of having children or getting married. That all goes out the window when she meets John Farnsworthy, MP at a cocktail party after one of her concerts. She is smitten immediately, and so is he. There is a problem, though. John Farnsworthy is married, he is Catholic, and he will not divorce his wife. To make matters worse, his wife is quite insane and institutionalized. This is an adventure in love, English politics, and living in upper class London. How are Kate and John going to keep their romance secret from the scandal seeking press? Then Kate decides it's time to get pregnant. As John says, "It's complicated."Also read "The Heart of the Holder", "The Narragansett Fork", "Musetta's Waltz", "Who is Sylvia", "Five Love Stories en Brochette", "St. George and the Dragon", "Soaring With Eagles" and "Love's Shame, Love's Salvation."The cover photo is the author's
