Today church is as a corporation, and its members are the consumers, its customers, and Jesus is the product with a nice packaged gospel. And in order to keep the business going, many feel they need to please the people. This can only be done by compromising the Word of God. By not preaching or teaching biblical doctrines, by not touching on controversial issues, and conforming the Word of God to the people, rather then conforming the people to the Word of God. Today church is a place to be happy, to feel good, to get your fix. Not to build you to be who Christ called us to be. I believe we are at the time Paul mentioned about the great falling away. Not a denouncing of Jesus, but a turning away, a falling away from God's Word, from God's doctrines. The world is filled with people who claim Christ with their mouths, but not with their hearts. For the simple fact, there is another Jesus, another gospel being preached and taught today. This book does not have all the answers, nor will it teach you everything. But it will cover many aspects, and truths within Christianity, and will give you what you need. Which is a strong biblical foundation, based on the things you need to know!
