Soon after Chris and Nick Gennaro buy a winning $9 million lottery ticket, Chris' dead body is found floating in the marina near his small boat in South Walton, Rhode Island. A few days later, his older brother, Nick, cashes in the ticket, leading his father, Nicholas, to suspect that Nick might be involved in the murder of his favorite son.
